While White Pocket can be explored independently, regular cars are not suited for the challenging approach that requires navigating deep sand tracks in the remote desert of the Paria Plateau. As such, many visitors choose to experience White Pocket with the support of a guide.
Guiding at White Pocket is regulated by the Bureau of Land Management and subject to commercial permitting.
